The following features are included in Cato's cloud-native security stack, SSE 360, which was developed utilizing the Cato Single Pass Cloud Engine (SPACE) architecture: Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA/SDP), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) with Advanced Threat Prevention (IPS, Next Generation Anti-Malware), SSE 360 scales without the need to size, patch, or upgrade equipment or other point solutions to decrypt and examine all business traffic. The self-service CATO Management Application is used to centrally and consistently manage security policies and events. Cato can further secure the network with a comprehensive Managed Threat Detection and Response (MDR) service to detect compromised endpoints.Utilizing laptops, tablets, and smartphones, Cato SASE Cloud offers customers zero-trust network access (SDP/ZTNA) to on-premises and cloud applications. The Cato Socket SD-WAN device establishes a last-mile connection from a physical site to the closest Cato PoP. The combination of fiber, cable, xDSL, and 4G/LTE connections is up to the customer.

The socket uses multiple traffic management techniques, including active-active link utilization, application- and user-aware QoS priorities, dynamic path selection to get around link blackouts and brownouts, and packet duplication to get around packet loss. The socket may route site-to-site traffic across MPLS and the Internet to meet local and application-specific needs. A private global backbone of over 75 PoPs connected by many SLA-backed network providers serves as the foundation for Cato SASE Cloud. The PoPs software constantly checks the providers for jitter, packet loss, and latency to identify the optimum path for each packet in real time.

Cato's backbone design provides end-to-end route optimization for WAN and cloud traffic and a self-healing architecture to ensure optimal service availability.
