“Rublon already has customers in over 50 countries, and we’re working on expanding our presence in North America and the EMEA region even more. We are also looking to form strategic partnerships with other tech companies to reach new markets”

In today's increasingly digital world, cybersecurity is a growing concern for organizations of all sizes. As technology continues to evolve, so do the challenges in maintaining cybersecurity and compliance in an organization. In fact, implementing a strong multi-factor authentication (MFA) system is essential for protecting sensitive data from cyber threats. Moreover, companies must meet regulatory compliance and industry-specific standards, e.g., FTC Safeguards Rule, Federal zero trust architecture (ZTA) strategy, PCI DSS, GDPR, NIST 800-63B, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and more while being capable of managing remote work environments and privileged accounts. This is where Rublon, a game-changing solutions provider, is revolutionizing the way companies approach cybersecurity by making it easier than ever to implement a secure and effective MFA system.

Rublon offers a state-of-the-art Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) compliant with the regulatory requirements of multiple industries, including but not limited to Healthcare, Technology, Government, and Retail. The company’s MFA for Windows Logon enables customers to install it on their endpoints to enable robust MFA. Rublon also provides MFA for VPNs and Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) like RD Gateway, RD Web Access, and RD web client. Custom web applications integrate with Rublon MFA using SDKs available for Java, .NET, and PHP. “To support Rublon Multi-Factor Authentication, our sister company Astec IT Services expertly manages and scales the entire infrastructure, taking care of the setup, deployment, and maintenance of the required hardware, software, and platforms. Astec IT Services employs world-class agile DevOps teams , enabling Rublon to quickly and effectively create and deploy existing and new products,” adds Michal Wendrowski, President & CEO, Rublon.

As a cutting-edge solutions provider, Rublon enables powerful Workforce MFA for organizations to securely verify the identity of employees when they log into their workplace systems. It is designed to provide an additional layer of security to the user's account by requiring them to use a combination of something they know (their password) and something they possess (e.g., a mobile phone with an authenticator app like Rublon Authenticator or a hardware security key) or something they are (biometrics, e.g. a FIDO2 security key with a fingerprint sensor) to gain access. This added security helps to protect the workforce from potential data breaches and other cyber threats. In fact, Rublon Multi-Factor Authentication is an ideal solution for businesses looking to add an extra layer of security to their existing systems. Thanks to its easy-to-use integration process and flexible architecture, Rublon can be quickly and easily deployed with minimal effort, allowing businesses to have an additional layer of security in place within minutes or hours, depending on their size.

The company’s connectors are designed to provide an extra layer of security for remote workers and admin accounts. These connectors integrate with popular applications and services, such as Outlook Web App (OWA) and Remote Desktop web client, to enable MFA for users so that they access their accounts securely. “The native connectors allow you to set up Multi-Factor Authentication with just a few clicks. This makes it quick and easy to get started with Rublon while also providing users with a seamless experience that doesn't require any additional configuration. Native connectors installed directly on the endpoints ensure a frictionless user experience,” explains Wendrowski.

Rublon solves the administration challenges of complicated MFA systems by prioritizing clear language and providing visual aids whenever possible. This allowed to create a comprehensive yet user-friendly documentation with clear step-by-step and ensured to offer an outstanding user experience by assembling an experienced team of UX writers who designed intuitive navigation with easy-to-follow menus that require minimal user input. The solution also comes with an intuitive Group Policy setup that allows administrators to apply different authentication methods (and other settings) to different user groups and applications, for the highest level of flexibility. “Our success is the success of our customers , so we always make sure to provide top customer support. Rublon's Customer Support team is ready to help you out whenever you need it, offering support through email and phone in English, German, and Polish. Get online assistance quickly and resolve your issue in no time,” adds Wendrowski.

An interesting instance that highlights the company’s value proposition is when the team assisted a customer that was faced with the challenge of enabling MFA for thousands of users who were authenticating into remotely hosted desktop applications using the Microsoft Remote Desktop web client. They tried to accomplish this by using solutions from one of Rublon’s biggest competitors, but this project failed due to a lack of proper integration possibilities with the RD web client. The customer reached out to Rublon as they identified that Rublon offers a dedicated connector for MFA for Microsoft RD web client . Using Rublon, the customer was able to complete a successful proof-of-concept within a day. The team also used the customer’s feedback to further improve Rublon’s MFA solution for Microsoft RD web client, which enabled the customer to deploy Rublon MFA on production for all users.

Rublon’s near-term goal is to become a bullet-proof solution that can enable MFA across all technologies, for all types of users, and within any environment, no matter its complexity, while adhering to most of the world’s security standards. “Rublon already has customers in over 50 countries, and we’re working on expanding our presence in North America and the EMEA region even more. We are also looking to form strategic partnerships with other tech companies to reach new markets,” concludes Wendrowski.
